How Not To USe Artificial Intelligence

Not for sales. Not for conversion. Just No!

Do you think AI is a solution for social media success?

Automation and optimization on social media are everywhere.

They promise to save time, sound great and boost your posts' reach.

But that's bullshit.

AI does more harm than good when it comes to conversion rates.

AI can write and schedule your posts.

But it's a machine.

It lacks the human touch.

It's still poor at getting a point across without sounding like machine spew.

ChatGPT wrote the next paragraph when I asked it about the disadvantages of using AI to write social media posts.

"AI fails to foster genuine relationships, empathize with your audience, or adjust to the spontaneous nature of social interactions. In short, it can't replicate emotional intelligence."

In other words when you use AI for content it sounds like blurgh!

If I am ever in a bar with you and start talking about emotional intelligence please just slap me.

So yes, AI has benefits, but it's not going to help you sell.

I've tried. It doesn't work.

Don't fall into the trap of parroting what it says in your own posts or articles.
